The Teddington RNLI Open Day marks the grand finale of Lifeboat Week (24th – 31st May), giving visitors a chance to explore the station, meet the crew and learn more about the incredible lifesaving work they do.

It’s a brilliant opportunity to get up close to the lifeboats, watch demonstrations and enjoy a lively afternoon by the river.

What to expect:

• Climb aboard a lifeboat and its tractor
• Lifesaving demonstrations from volunteer crew
• Meet firefighters and see a fire engine
• Water safety games and activities
• Face painting and special effects make-up
• Live music from ukulele and wind bands

There’ll also be plenty of food and drink available from local favourites including Shambles, The Anglers and The Wharf, alongside homemade cakes, tea and refreshments from RNLI volunteers.

The event runs alongside the popular Teddington Duck Race, so you can enjoy both events together and soak up a fantastic community atmosphere.
