Discover art in a new and engaging way with Tate Britain’s Family Tours, specially designed for children aged 5–11 years.
Each 30-minute tour explores 2–3 artworks through multisensory experiences including textures, colours, shapes, sounds, and more.
Led by friendly volunteers, these tours use hand gestures, storytelling, and interactive activities to bring art to life, encouraging children to be curious, ask questions, and share their thoughts verbally or non-verbally.
When: During UK school holidays
Meeting Point: Top of the Rotunda Stairs, Tate Britain
Ages: Suitable for children 5–11 years, with accompanying adults
