The Lord Mayor’s Hot Air Balloon Regatta is a spectacular annual event where up to 50 hot air balloons soar over central London to raise awareness and funds for The Lord Mayor’s Appeal. Leading the flight is the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress in the official balloon. After several years of cancellations due to weather and the pandemic, the standby dates are 20th July, and 27th July. The regatta is a stunning visual celebration and an extension of the historic Lord Mayor’s Show, aiming to support charitable causes while filling London’s early morning skyline with vibrant colour.
