Join in the fun at the British Museum this February half-term with their free, three-day family festival!

Samurai were known as a distinct warrior class, but eventually moved away from the battlefield to become an elite social class that included women. Many became leaders in scholarship and the arts.

Inspired by our new Samurai exhibition and in celebration of women and the arts, we invite you to join our artists and performers for traditional stories and hands-on creative workshops for children aged six and over.
