The Dragonfly Festival at London Wetland Centre runs from 21 June to 22 September and celebrates the beauty and science of dragonflies. Families can enjoy daily activities including a dragonfly trail, splash pad, outdoor games, and pond dipping. Special events include storytelling, STEM workshops, pottery sessions, and a dragonfly-themed art installation. A macro photography exhibition and creative community projects add to the vibrant programme. Most events are included with standard admission, and the festival is designed to engage all ages. Located in Barnes, the centre is a dragonfly hotspot with 26 recorded species.
